Understanding how to prevent your foot pain means understanding its cause. Unfortunately, this can be a complex and confusing subject. When preparing to write this book, we made the decision to partner a leading orthopedic surgeon with an experienced educator to make sure these concepts are presented clearly and accurately so that you will be able to leverage this knowledge for yourself. Of course, this book is not a replacement for a doctor’s examination or treatment plan, but the more you understand about your own musculoskeletal system, the better you will be at addressing the factors that contribute to your discomfort.

The Arch Support You Need
Protalus ® insoles come up higher on the sides of the foot (especially the medial side) than other insoles, reducing pressure.
1. Can Protalus insoles help with flat feet?
Yes, Protalus insoles have been shown to benefit flat feet (overpronation), significantly more than other insole companies. 80% of the population suffers from some level of overpronation, and Protalus insoles correct this by aligning the ankle joint to a more neutral position. This helps maintain the integrity of your arches and alleviate discomfort.
2. If my shoe is between sizes, should I purchase an insole smaller or larger than my shoe size?
We recommend ordering an insole a half size larger and trimming the insole accordingly (see question below for trimming instructions).
3. How long will my Protalus insoles last?
Although our insoles are made of the highest quality materials, over time, constant wear and heat will eventually compress them. Once compressed, you will no longer feel the original comfort or control in alignment. For optimal success we recommend replacing Protalus insoles every 5 to 6 months. When performing higher impact activities, they may need to be replaced more frequently.
4. What is the 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee?
We offer a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee on all products ordered through Protalus.com, excluding Subscription orders. If you would like to return your Protalus insoles, please contact customer service for a return shipping label. If you prefer to ship them yourself please send them to ‘20750 SW 115th Ave Suite 190, Tualatin, OR 97062’ with your order number or packing invoice. If you choose not to use our prepaid return label, we do not refund return shipping cost. After we have received your insoles, we will refund the original form of payment excluding any original shipping cost.

Some people have one foot that is longer than the other, this is quite normal. we recommend choosing a size that matches the longer foot when making your size selection. Our insoles can be trimmed down in the toe area to help them fit and this does not void our 90-day guarantee. We will accept the insoles back, regardless of them being trimmed.Show Junior Sizes
The width of your foot is an important factor in buying the correct insole size for your shoes. Protalus ® Insoles accommodate widths B-EE. Width is relative to shoe size, so a foot that is 3 1/2 inches wide might be considered regular width for one size but narrow for a larger size.
